“Oh. It’s you.”
Of course it was her. Damn girl didn’t know how to talk with anything else but the butt of her gun.
"Oh? Next time I catch you like this, I’ll break your skull."
"Go ahead. Shoot."
And hell did he mean it, he was ready to die a long time ago.

Okay so this was the slowest update ever but expect the next page coming right after, and many more too! Eh needing money sort of makes your free comic sort of take a backseat, but I really wanted to get these colored and animated!
By the next page it should be hosted on http://theacademycomic.com, but I still enjoy putting them up on tumblr, so I’ll keep both locations =)

“K57, you’re free.”

From what?

From life?

It was hard to believe that he was going to get any freedom here besides the sweet release of death.

Being free was sort of a joke, a meaningless word. When you're just a number, well, a letter and a few numbers, there wasn’t much in this world for you.

Most cases, you didn’t live long enough to get a name.

See here, they didn’t even give orphans names, they gave them numbers. So many casualties a day, didn’t make sense to give them anything else - too many names to think up. When you got a couple thousand to send out daily you don’t want to be bothered learning up each detailed fancy name just to keep them apart from each other.
